Our Vision

Love God, Love People, Love Learning

Will support families to lay a foundation for life time learning, including preparing your child to read and write.

Our Programme is based on Biblical teachings, the principles of Te Whariki (New Zealand ECE curriculum) and our aspirations, which guide us in the development of children's cognitive, physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social needs.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 19:14

About Us

St Peter's Anglican Preschool

St Peter's Anglican Preschool opened in August, 2019. It provides a multicultural, family friendly environment that has developed strong links with our community. Licensed for 44 children, we nurture children aged approximately 1.5 – 5 years (children can stay up to their 6th birthday).

We believe that each child is a gift from God and is best taught well while they are young. Our Learning program is based on Biblical teaching and the principles of Te Whāriki (New Zealand ECE curriculum) which guides us in the development of children’s cognitive, emotional, physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social needs.

What Our Parents/ Whanau say

“The teachers are all very genuine and kind.” “I feel comfortable to approach all teachers.”
“A caring preschool that supports children's growth.”
“Leaving my daughter with the teachers is like leaving her with family. The environment is so loving and nurturing. The flexibility in choosing the hours that works for me for my daughter to be in preschool is a huge bonus.”
“My daughter has loved her time at St Peter's Anglican Preschool. She has made many wonderful friends, grown in confidence and enjoyed the many opportunities she has had while at preschool. Dropping her off in the morning is like dropping her off with family. I know she is loved and well cared for by the wonderful staff. She is always so happy to go to preschool and loves all the activities and fun things she gets to do. The preschool's flexible hours meant we could fit preschool around our own needs and not have to fit into set session times which we greatly appreciated. St Peter's Anglican Preschool has prepared her well for school. I know she is exciting about starting school soon but I also know she will miss the lovely staff and children at her preschool. Thank you for helping make my daughter's preschool years such a special time in her life.”
